Maternity Care

Calling all expecting mothers – we take you from conception to birth by putting together a detailed schedule of care and offering you a dedicated doctor for your entire pregnancy.

How often should I come in for a checkup?
Generally, pregnant women should be seen on a monthly basis until eight to 10 weeks prior to the due date. At that point, the frequency will increase to being seen on a weekly basis until you deliver. At CFM, we have a great deal of flexibility when it comes emergency visits and the need to reschedule an appointment.

What happens during the regular checkups?
We will check your weight, blood pressure and urine sample each time. In addition, we’ll measure the size of your uterus and check fetal heartbeat. The doctor may additionally perform a vaginal exam as needed during some visits.

Can I see the same doctor throughout my pregnancy?
Yes, you will have one primary care physician assigned to you throughout. As schedules allow, you will see this doctor through to delivery.

How can I afford this?
Our billing office is ready to explain your options for payment. We’ll work with you and your insurance plan to figure out a payment plan that works for you. Any outside labs or testing at other facilities are billed separately by the facility. We’re ready with any questions you may have regarding payment.
